President Muhammadu Buhari has pledged Federal Government’s commitment to invest hugely in the power sector to improve power supply to Nigerians.
Buhari this known when he received the German and Ethiopian Diplomats, Birgitt Ory and Azanaw Tadesse Abreha, shortly after signing an agreement with the German Company, Siemens, to boost Nigeria’s power supply.
In a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, President Buhari described the agreement signed with the German Company, Siemens, as a welcomed development for the Country, adding that “Nigerians are eagerly looking forward to improvement in the power sector”. The president assured the German companies that his government would honor the terms of agreements on their investments in the country.
In her remarks, the German Diplomat Brigit Ory assured President Buhari that she would work towards improving relations between both Countries, saying it was a great privilege to serve in Nigeria, which had always been her aspiration.
